Bursaries

The MICT SETA provides bursaries for South African citizens to pursue full-time studies within any of the fields that fall within its sectors.

The bursary programme is offered through partnerships with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) and most of the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges and universities to support deserving and financially challenged individuals.

How to apply for a bursary?

Criteria for an MICT SETA Bursary: 

  • South African citizen
  • Age 18 – 25
  • Studying: Computer Science / Information Technology, PR & Communication, Journalism, Advertising/Marketing, Film & Television, Electronics or related
  • 1st qualification only
  • Studying full time
  • Academically and financially deserving students

MICT SETA Bursary application forms are obtainable from selected public tertiary institutions.
